In the end I purchased a process cause I liked the ride a lot and the graphic of gary the bear was the best I'd ever seen on a board I liked. If you want a good board for buttering, jumps, switch, and slightly less than the Jones MT's ability to turn and carve with similar speed then the Process or in your case Custom. If you can give up a little speed for amazing switch, carving, and turn initiation then Jones MT. The turn initiation on it wasn't as easy as the MT for me, it just seemed stiffer overall. I gotta say if you want speed go with Mercury.
